breaking dawn

I'm shamefully a massive twilight fan-boy... I really wish I wasn't obsessed with the films but I can't help it!

I'm too excited for breaking dawn to come out. I'm completely team Jacob because Taylor Lautner is my dream boy. Here's some pictures that prove my wolf addiction...
(T-Shirt: Vintage from Edinburgh, Jumper and Badge: Topman, Tail: Urban Outfitters, Bag: From my old job)

This post is pretty rushed because I'm on my way to a lecture (Zzzzzz). So I thought I'd just throw in some pictures of my hair since I went crazy and cut it all off the other night, it looks a lot shorter when it's down...

1) Lana Del Rey -Video Games. I heard this song on Dazed Digital and I cant stop playing it.

2) Cinematic Orchestra - To Build A Home.

3) Leona Naess - Charm Attack. I've loved this song for years since my best friend showed me it.

4) Hole - Celebrity Skin. Who doesn't love Courtney?

5) Florence + The Machine - Shake It Out.

Style for the weekend

When I was browsing stylebubble.co.uk a few days ago, I saw the video Susie did for Bluefly Closet Confessions, and it instantly reminded me of this video I saw on Nowness.com in March. This video is everything I love about fashion. Everyone takes their appearance so seriously, trying to be unique in a mainstream way, but these ladies are the definition of eclecticism, style and chic. Fashion should be more about the individuals interpretation, and I love the phrase "creative dress".

Susie is also a massive fashion inspiration obviously. I went to her blogging masterclass at topshop in the summer and I can honestly say she's the only person I've ever been starstruck by. These videos are making me want to go vintage shopping! Guess I'll be going to Brick Lane yet again tomorrow....

Johnnys Bird

Moni Haworth is one of my all time favourite photographers. She is London based, and her photos pretty much sum up the life of non-model socialites around the city, as well as the hipster elite from all over the place. If you haven't been on her website johnnysbird.com/, then you're not using the internet properly.  It's amazing inspiration for heroin chic, and "I don't give a fuck, I'm keeping it real" looks. I'm guessing she is currently / was recently in LA, since she's just uploaded a gallery with the Death Queen (if you don't know who this is, and have twitter, you should), and another with Jonny make-up. These are a couple of my favourite pictures from their shoots, and also some of Sky Ferreira (taken a while ago), for obvious reasons... I wish I was like 2 inches taller and had the model qualities I posted about yesterday so I could shoot with her...

Update: Shopping

Today after a lecture I went shopping on Oxford Street and Carnaby Street in Central London. I didn't really have any particular purpose so I just bought a lot of useless items really.
Shirt from FIFTYFIVEDSL
I actually got these leggings on the weekend from H&M, but thought I'd post them now because I clearly just wanted to expose my crotch to the world. (p.s that's not my penis, it's my baggy underwear bunching up (I need to do my laundry badly))
Some bed throws from a shop that shall remain unnamed... I couldn't resist them..
Sorry for how blurry these are... But both broach and socks are from topman.

Brick Lane Baby

The other week I had my photo taken for a Korean Style magazine on Brick Lane, and I just got the photos the other day.

(Shirt and T-shirt: topman, Jeans: Cheap Monday, Socks: DIY, Shoes: Jeremy Scott for Adidas)

I've been so busy with freshers and moving to London and starting university, but I'm finally free (sober) enough to blog again. Here's a pic of how my hair has changed over this weekend. Bare in mind I came with Blonde hair as pictured above.

On Sunday I did a tiny bit of shopping at the Brick Lane markets (I'm clearly obsessed), but as you can expect from me after a Saturday night at my friends flat, I didn't end up getting there until it was closing, but I did manage to get these amazing interchangeable lens sunglasses, and this vintage "giraffe on acid" style brick jumper.

Here's some webcam pictures of me playing around with the sunglasses. Hopefully sometime this week I'll be able to start doing some real blogs, but I thought it would be nice to give a little insight into what I've been up to lately.
